Ngorongoro Crater – Dramatic Scenery and Tons of Wildlife
The Nature’s Epic Masterpiece the Masai Mara Kenya
Pemba is a paradise island with a landscape consisting of tropical aces, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, flawless nature, coral reefs, and the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. It is the second largest island of the Zanzibar Archipelago, which consists of a series of smaller islets off the coast of Tanzania, in the Indian Ocean. The island is inhabited by about 500 000 people. The majority of the population speaks Swahili, but it is not a hassle to find people who speak English. Pemba is also known as “The Green Island” for a reason. The diversity of plant and animal species is delightful. Pemba is an ideal place for lovers of sunshine, the average temperature in the year is 25,5℃, and it is usually 30℃ during the day.
Whilst Zanzibar is flat and sand-strewn, neighbouring Pemba Island is hillier and more verdant with forests, mangrove swamps, hidden beaches, lagoons, and tidal sandbanks; it’s the island of cloves, mangoes, and hillocks lush with fruit and spice trees. Named by early Arab traders as the ‘Green Island’, thanks to its fertile soil, Pemba’s culture has been influenced by Arabian and Persian settlers; and the coastline is littered with ancient ruins of mosques and tombs, a reminder of a bygone age.
